The showers are pretty great but heed caution in the women's bathroom! There is no area to undress for the shower except by the sink which is in full view of anyone walking past if someone else opens the door!! You also need to bring your own towel.

There was no alcohol allowed in the hostel but plenty of bars nearby.

You can buy water at reception but there is no free drinking water like most other hostels in Mexico. There is a fridge and microwave available, but no other facilities. The courtyard was lovely and they sell barista coffees to enjoy. There was no aircon or fan in the room so the second night when it was fairly full it got very hot. The room and beds were clean and comfortable however we did notice one top bunk had some fallen rock matter from the fresco walls. The location is AMAZING! Just a block away from all the action and super easy to walk to all attractions (if you're willing to walk uphill!) We stayed in the dormitory for 2 nights - one of which we were the only guests! It is slightly more expensive on a Friday and Saturday nights. This hostel is great for somewhere to sleep and shower but is unusual as a hostel.
